His life is characterized by fantastic successes as an actor and singer, but also by recurring alcohol problems. David Hasselhoff is a superstar with ups and downs. In his autobiography he speaks frankly about his personal crises and provides insight into his inner life.

David Michael Hasselhoff became famous with his leading roles in TV series like "Knight Rider", in which he and his marvelous car K.I.T.T. protect the poor, the sick and the defenseless, prosecutes criminals and saves beautiful women in the TV series "Baywatch".
He also made the breakthrough as a singer: In 1989 he recorded "Looking for Freedom" with the German producer Jack White. It became the best selling album of the year. In 1989 Hasselhoff sang "Looking for Freedom" at the Berlin Wall in front of more than 500.000 people. The single went No. 1 for eight weeks. Overall Hasselhoff's numerous music productions received more than 45 gold and platinum awards. In 1996 his star on the Walk of Fame was revealed in Hollywood.

His first in Great Britain released autobiography "Making Waves" was listed No. 2 of bestselling books of the year. The now available German edition was completely updated and edited by David Hasselhoff himself.

The German edition of the Hasselhoff autobiography will be personally revised by David Hasselhoff, adapted to the German-speaking markets and will also be updated with the events of the latest past.

The autobiography is expected to be published in April 2010 as hardcover in the format 24 x 16 cm and will contain approximately 300 pages with numerous private photos.
